Yetiusmc Report post Posted August 26, 2013 Here are some pictures of a quiver I recently made for a friend. He is in Japan and wanted a Samurai carved in it. He gave me full run on what I wanted to do, so I did. I did the inlay with sea snake, as I used to see them there all the time when diving there. The dark brown is Horween chromexcel 8-9 oz, and the carved portion is Herman Oak 8-9 oz. If you get a chance to work with the chromeexcel, I suggest it. It is so very nice, and it is already about as waterproof as you can get! I tried loading more pictures, but it is giving me fits! Comments/criticism is welcome! olds cool Report post Posted August 27, 2013 Beautiful work. Love the coloring. The white snake skin compliments it really well.
Yetiusmc Report post Posted August 28, 2013 Thank you all very much! The snake skin is sea snake. I bought some a while back and glad I finally got to use some it! It is very subdued, but beautiful.

Undeadzombiehunter Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Gorgeous, as an archer, i would love something as well designed and beautifully crafted. You should be very proud of it. i would hang it on the wall as a display piece. How many beers does it hold ?
Yetiusmc Report post Posted October 18, 2013 I don't know how many beers it holds, but took over a case to make!
