Tree Reaper Report post Posted August 28, 2013 I've been working on an illuminated dog collar for use at night. It works really well and is extremely bright at night, works off a 9 volt battery. I want to develop a different switching method to turn it on and off but all in all it works good. Kevin.

Tree Reaper Report post Posted August 29, 2013 Thanks all, Bill, yes it is a 12 volt light strip bought at Wal-mart. I wasn't sure if they would work with 9 volts but they do. Lower voltage on LED's won't be as bright but they will last longer and they are plenty bright with 9 volts. These are the new LED chips, square in design. You can see how bright they are even though the flash on the camera was on.
