    Nice design love it, sheath is deceiving as to the shape of the blade....was wondering from first pic how the blade came out seeing the small handle on the sheath...lol. Very nice work.

    Nicely done, you captured the old coin look real good with the shading, faces are hard to do even if it's a profile. Great work.

    A little tidbit of info on the name Portmanteau, as you probably already know it's a french word.....really a combonation of two french words. Porte wich means "to carry" and manteau wich means "coat".......so litteral translation is "coat carrier"

    I just went to DeviantArt and your work is just simply amazing. I really loved your Archangel helmet..... it's just really stunning. Pics of different stages of fabrication would be cool!

    I just got a...... "Oh! those are awsome, I want a pair of those" from somebody looking over my shoulder. And I concure, very nice. A tutorial on constructing those would be very kind, though I know it would be very time consuming. I will just put it out there as a wish list. Thanks for showing, great work.

    Reclamed strap good idea, din't think of doing that, I've been putting of getting a new watch strap. Never really thought of making my own. Recycling a strap great idea. The one I have is looking a little scraggly. Sturdy, classy looking nice edges and I like the off angles at the tip. Great work.

    Thanks for the info much apreciated.....my son just pickep this little beauty over the winter and I intend on pitching him the idea of a bib for it, giving me a whole new project and good method to protect it. Thanks again for the help.
