Members tanda4 Posted October 8, 2013 Members Report Posted October 8, 2013 I know some people on the board are gifted with woodworking and turning.
Members wolfe9 Posted October 9, 2013 Members Report Posted October 9, 2013 You might want to try Bearman his wood skills look impressive , you also might want to post this in the help wanted section , I think this section is more for people looking for tools/ equipment and might get less exposure . Sorry for your loss
Members Colt Hammerless Posted October 9, 2013 Members Report Posted October 9, 2013 Sorry for your loss tanda4. Curious as to what type of exotic wood you had in mind.
Moderator bruce johnson Posted October 9, 2013 Moderator Report Posted October 9, 2013 Another place to check is with your veterinarian or ask for a referral to a local pet cemetery/crematorium. Often times they have some options there for better than standard pet urns that can be special ordered. There are probably some on-line options for ordering also.
Members TXAG Posted October 9, 2013 Members Report Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) I would very highly recommend the online route...my vet and the cremation service had very limited (and VERY overpriced) options...I found a place online that laser etched my dog's pic and info on a black granite container...I can barely move it...it is extremely heavy. They may do exotic woods...I'll try to check for you... They do have some beautiful wooden ones...here you go... http://www.memorialg...m/pet-urns.aspx Also sorry for your loss...
