Members kitch2500 Posted October 11, 2013 Members Report Posted October 11, 2013 This is a knife sheath I just finished for a friend. All comments and critiques are welcome. What do ya'll think? Quote
mlapaglia Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 on the whole it looks great. I think you could use more leather on the outside of the belt loop. Its pretty thin there. Could break under the tension of the belt. Quote

Members katsass Posted October 12, 2013 Members Report Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) Kitch, From the grump, I like it, however I think that the top corner(?) will fray at that point. A general rule of thumb is to keep away from sharp corners when working with this type of leather. BUT, it's there and there ain't a damned thing to do about it. It is nice work overall. Mike . Members kitch2500 Posted October 12, 2013 Author Members Report Posted October 12, 2013 The next one will definitely have more meat around the belt slots and rounded points. Thanks for the comments. Mike, I read your posts all the time and it seems you have been doing this for a long time. I am looking to build myself a duty holster, any tips or suggestions? Ever done any duty leather before?
