This vase was made using Cheryl Smeja's methods. The band around it is a leather bracelet I made in a class with Rene Berends. The vase needed something, the bracelet was handy & it was a match.

Hey Mike,

Nice job on that vase. Back when I was learning to do her flowers, I thought I'd like to do one of those vases sometime too. Your picture reminded me again. I guess I should add that to my list. Thanks for sharing the picture. Hope you'll post more now.

Hello Mike G. that is a fine looking work of art....Remember, i said to you

Wow, that is so awesome!

That bracelet holding it together just takes it to another level aswell. Looks really professional.

I wanna have one of those for my old house on the countryside for sure!

The Vase is beutiful. I had no idea you could do this with leather.
