Members country girl Posted November 29, 2013 Members Report Posted November 29, 2013 Hi. I'm kinda new here, though I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks. I started tooling leather in August, and have completed a couple of Tandy wallet kits, and a tablet case. This wallet was all on my own. Dad is rough on the insides, so I took the suggestion of tyvek, then used glazed pigskin split to line it. The plane was my dad's toy when I was growing up. I'm hoping it's not too rough for him for Christmas. What do you think? Quote

Tree Reaper Posted November 29, 2013 Report Posted November 29, 2013 That's a gift from the heart, he'll not only love it but cherish it too. Good job. Quote
Members country girl Posted November 29, 2013 Author Members Report Posted November 29, 2013 Thank you, guys. I know I have a long way to go before I really know what I'm doing and have results I'm totally happy with. I'm one of those who sees the flaws in my work before anything else. I know, too, that eventually I'll redo the plane on another, better wallet. Just not yet, while I'm just getting started. Quote
