country girl Report post Posted November 29, 2013 Hi. I'm kinda new here, though I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks. I started tooling leather in August, and have completed a couple of Tandy wallet kits, and a tablet case. This wallet was all on my own. Dad is rough on the insides, so I took the suggestion of tyvek, then used glazed pigskin split to line it. The plane was my dad's toy when I was growing up. I'm hoping it's not too rough for him for Christmas. What do you think?

country girl Report post Posted November 29, 2013 Thank you, guys. I know I have a long way to go before I really know what I'm doing and have results I'm totally happy with. I'm one of those who sees the flaws in my work before anything else. I know, too, that eventually I'll redo the plane on another, better wallet. Just not yet, while I'm just getting started.
