I've had some oiled leather laying around for a while so I made a seat using it. It has that worn used look. A pain to fit the top since it acts like a piece of rubber and wants to shift while lacing. The cure is to cut the top as small as possible so no buckles or movement.

Paprhangr, My husband fabricated the pan and we had it painted to match the bike which I will post photos of later. This bike is entered in the Full Throttle Bike invitational down in Florida in a couple weeks. I hope we get everything wrapped up soon. This is very stressful .

That is a nice seat. I like it. Simple is sometimes the best look for things. Would love to see the seat on the bike.

That's a nice looking seat. Don't you get color rub off with the oiled leather? Did you seal it?
