Members Troy Burch Posted January 4, 2014 Members Report Posted January 4, 2014 It takes time, but I use a swivel knife and then work it some with a modeling spoon, much more realistic. Quote
Members Cyberthrasher Posted January 4, 2014 Members Report Posted January 4, 2014 Yeah, those look like they're cut, beveled, and then possibly centered with a pear shader to give definition and interest in some spots. Quote
Members TIMCO now SX Posted January 8, 2014 Members Report Posted January 8, 2014 We produce hex spots in different color plates. When mixed and set close to each other, the effect is reptile skin. Check us out! www.sxindustries.com Or send me an email: tim@sxindustries.com Happy New Year ! Quote
Members HamanHide Posted March 14, 2014 Members Report Posted March 14, 2014 sandanieleeI know this is an old post but, in-case you are still looking for ideas, I recently did a holster for a dragon fanatic... I used a Craftool U855 Mulefoot... Dyed it green first then used the block-dye technique to cover the tops black. Customer was happy so... Quote
