Is there a stamping tool available that stamps 5-6mm circles? For the centre of flowers? I'm busy looking round the house for something that fits the bill but was wondering if there's an actual stamp that does it? Like a large seeder

Don't know of a seeder that large, but what about using a piece of pipe? A piece of small diameter copper pipe or a pipe coupling should be able to withstand a limited amount of stamping and should be relatively inexpensive. A jeweler's stamp may also work (http://www.etsy.com/...mp-large-bubble). The stamping edges of a jeweler's stamp may need to be blunted by drawing the impression face across sandpaper glued to a piece of glass, and the shoulders of the stamp may need to be ground back as well to make something like this usable as a leather stamp.

You might also take a look at Barry King's flower centers. Clicking on the pictures will bring up a ruler for scale, and you might find something the right size that you like.

You could also use a cheap leather punch the right size and dull it, or buy a CS Osborne punch and use it as is.

Good idea! I have some cheap crappy punches that were already dull upon arrival and too blunt to be useful, they should work fine :-)

I use shell casings from a number of different calibers. 22-40-45-308- etc.

I tap firmly and then bevel around it.

Spot setters work as well.
