Members Yetiusmc Posted January 12, 2014 Members Report Posted January 12, 2014 Finally got around to making a weight belt for myself. Here is my progress thus far. Quote
Members Yetiusmc Posted January 12, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 12, 2014 Here is the main part of the belt. Tooling done, getting ready for dye. The skull patch will fit in the middle area. Quote

Members Yetiusmc Posted January 14, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 14, 2014 First round if color down. I am liking the contrast so far. Quote
Members ErlandWillams Posted January 14, 2014 Members Report Posted January 14, 2014 Awesome love it, waiting for new leather belts upload. Quote
Members Yetiusmc Posted January 17, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 17, 2014 Background dye gave me some problems, but pressed on. Got to try out some paste antique for the first time and I really like how much easier it is to handle. Outer layer mostly done. Now to add two more layers of leather for stiffness and see her up! Members eglideride Posted January 17, 2014 Members Report Posted January 17, 2014 Very cool- i like the bold colors...which brand of dye did you use? Quote
Members Yetiusmc Posted January 17, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 17, 2014 Mostly Fiebings, except the yellow. That was Angelus. I have let Eco Flo ruin too many of my projects! Thanks for the compliments! Quote
Members Yetiusmc Posted January 19, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 19, 2014 And it's done. Finally. Quote

Members Halitech Posted January 19, 2014 Members Report Posted January 19, 2014 looks good and while I like the way you followed the skulls and flowers and things with your stitching, I'm sure some will think you should have adjusted the carving so you could have did a straight edge with the sewing but I like it Quote
Members eglideride Posted January 19, 2014 Members Report Posted January 19, 2014 Great Job! I like your makers mark too- great design. Quote
