Members papaw Posted January 12, 2014 Members Report Posted January 12, 2014 I am new to leather working, frist work was real bad. So I know I've seen members from Indiana on here but didn't write down any info. on where they was from, so I was hoping one would contact me and maybe I could go to their shop and learn some to get me started a little better. Thanks Perry Quote
Members Sturme Posted January 12, 2014 Members Report Posted January 12, 2014 I am in Indiana an hour south of Indy, give me a shout and I might be able to help you out a bit Quote
Members SLudlow Posted January 13, 2014 Members Report Posted January 13, 2014 I'm from Indianapolis. I'm a member of our Leather guild, and a small leather-supply business owner. For locals, please visit Landwerlen Leather Co (call for hours, ask for Eric, mention Stefan referred you) and ask away. Reddit's Leathercraft forum is moderated by PRDU, a Lafayette craftsman. He's exceptional and will answer any questions. As a hoosier, if you are nearby, I'd be happy to meet and discuss the trade. You can also call me at 317-213-9437 and I can give you my personal opinion regarding tools, supplies, and other items. Additionally, Gene Cooper in Indy is amazing. Send me a PM, and I can get you in touch with him. Former Pres of our guild, and a remarkable man, he knows more in his little finger than I will ever know. Quote
