Tree Reaper Report post Posted January 20, 2014 Have you seen these ... http://www.tandyleatherfactory.ca/en-cad/search/site-search-results.aspx?sectionpath=3&processor=content&p_keyword=staples
bruce johnson Report post Posted January 20, 2014 I use the staples like Tree Reaper linked to now once I got a die to set them for my foot press. Before that I used a NevaClog pliers type stapler. In one of the LCSJ articles from the past there was a recommendation for an Arrow pliers stapler that uses heavy staples. You can usually find a NevaClog or two on Ebay at any one time, along with staples. Pretty handy units.
electrathon Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Bruce, There are differant models ot the NevaClog. Do they all work? Do all of them use the same size staple? Aaron

J Hayes Report post Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) http://www.zackwhite.com/ spelling is off on the link above Is the NevaClog preferred over the Arrow P35 or Rapid brand for some reason? Edited January 21, 2014 by J Hayes

J Hayes Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Sorry about link...Not sure about the nevaclog. I have the Arrow and it works well (imho). I've spelled that incorrect so many times myself! No worries. Do you have the P35? What staple size and what oz leather do you use? Are the staples stainless steel?

Renaissanceman Report post Posted January 26, 2014 I do have the P35. Uses 3/8"/10mm #356 by Arrow. Doesn't give a count on box cost approx. $11. Zack's also sells these. Have used it on 8-OZ leather goes through no problem. Hope this helps?
