On my trip to South Africa last year I visited the SA Guild and Tommy McLintic was there to demonstrate the lace cutter he had developed himself. Being so far away from the USA with terrible import costs, these guys are forced to come up with a plan - and they do!

I will put the video that I have of this cutter somewhere on the web and place a link later on in this topic ...

Ingenious looking machine, he must have gone to engineering school in Germany, put that in a bimmer and double the fuel mileage and play DVD's at the same time :thumbsup::rofl:

wow...i like that setup...so much easier than the way i cut lace and looks a heck of a lot safer than the lace cutters that have the exposed blades...im gonna have to study those pixs and see if i can build me something similiar. thanks for posting!
