Members TigerPal Posted March 22, 2014 Members Report Posted March 22, 2014 I've been asked to help outfit a couple of Civil War reenactors, so I'm looking for authentic-appearing patterns for various leather goods, both Union and Confederate - especially for cartridge box, cap pouch, rifle sling, pistol holster. Anyone know of a good source for such patterns?? Quote
Members ReneeCanady Posted March 22, 2014 Members Report Posted March 22, 2014 I just did a quick google search and it actually brought me back to this site lol. Here is a link to a nice pattern a member here posted. I would contact him first, he may have more http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=52011 Quote www.facebook.com/alteredleather
Members Dwight Posted March 22, 2014 Members Report Posted March 22, 2014 Following up on what Renee said: do a search for Brazos Jack as author, . . . you will have to go down through the list, . . . you are looking for 4 separate posts, . . . one for the holster, then it's instructions, . . . another for the cartridge box, then it's instructions. Have fun, . . . I haven't made mine yet, . . . and the operative word is "yet", . . . May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran. www.dwightsgunleather.com
