Moderator immiketoo Posted March 31, 2014 Moderator Report Posted March 31, 2014 The customer wanted green snowflakes. The color matches the guitar pretty closely, but it was difficult to do from a picture. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted March 31, 2014 Contributing Member Report Posted March 31, 2014 Not gittin' the green snowflake thing, but that stitchin' is looking purdy! Then the inlay around the guitar seems to tie it in a bit, so maybe the customer really does know SOMEtimes Quote
Members BDAZ Posted March 31, 2014 Members Report Posted March 31, 2014 What did you charge for it? Nice job! Cya! Bob Quote
Members Bluesman Posted March 31, 2014 Members Report Posted March 31, 2014 That's really nice. How do you get such a great and deep looking stitch groove. You thread is literally hiding in there> Quote
Members DoubleC Posted March 31, 2014 Members Report Posted March 31, 2014 Mikey, beautiful job. Cheryl Quote
Moderator immiketoo Posted March 31, 2014 Author Moderator Report Posted March 31, 2014 Jeff, the guitar has snowflakes on the freeboard and green abalone purling. Who am I to say no? BDAZ, I charged $250.00 for this strap. Bluesman, I used a Marlin stitch groover to make the groove. It cuts a nice channel Quote
Members Bluesman Posted March 31, 2014 Members Report Posted March 31, 2014 I looked up Marlin stitch groover and din't come up with anything. I just ordered the Versa Groover from Douglas. That channel is the best. Quote
