I used 2/3 ounce for the inside and outside pieces. It's my daily wallet and besides being poorly sewn, I really like the way it functions.

You should be fine with your 2 ounce bison leather.

Thank you very much, it is very generous of you. Some folks have been charging for their paper templates.I'm a beginner, this will be my first wallet.I have some 2oz American Bisons leather that I am going to use. I hope it won't be to thick. Can someone give me some feed back on what to use for the interior pieces. I don't have a splitter and I don't want to buy a big piece of leather. I am not sure what to do.

Was just thinking i should make myself a new wallet, the moths that live in the one i got ate holes in it and all the money disappeared!
