Ambassador Luke Hatley Posted January 22, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 22, 2008 (edited) Second try... I took an order for two pistol carriers, they turned out so well I made me one. The Basket weave design turned out great ,very even, "I think". The Lettering came from F. O. Bairds Book. Color is Tan fiebiengs dye and antiqued with Angelus Maghogany , Hope i can find some more. * second one is the actual color... light problems* Edited January 22, 2008 by Luke Hatley Quote

Members Spider Posted January 22, 2008 Members Report Posted January 22, 2008 Hey Luke, I think I have that stamp too. I thought it was pretty plain too. It leaves very short cut edges. Kinda 2D. lol Nice work there dude. Quote
Cecil Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Nice work. I like the basket weave. Quote
Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted January 22, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 22, 2008 Very nicely done, the basket weave is very straight. Glad you clarified that the color was a lighting problem, I was going to ask how you did such a great job doing the purple dye. Ken Quote
howardb Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Dang. I wanted to know where the cool purple antiquing came from. Well, when light goes bad, it goes real bad. Nice pistol rugs though. Brent Quote
