RustyMelton Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 I thought I would show a couple of pictures of a chair back I've been working on. It's going of a folding directors chair. It still has some things left to do on it but I thought I'd show it anyway. Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted October 16, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted October 16, 2008 Geez, that looks classy! Between the carving and the color, i looks like it belongs on a movie set in some plush room. Quote Web page Facebook

Contributing Member UKRay Posted October 16, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted October 16, 2008 That is beautiful. Do you make your own woodwork too? Quote "Some mornings, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps" Ray Hatley www.barefootleather.co.uk
ArtS Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Looks great! I can't wait to see the finished product. Art Quote Art Schwab "You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself." – Galileo Galilei
RustyMelton Posted October 17, 2008 Author Report Posted October 17, 2008 Thanks for the positive comments everyone. I kind of like the way the color turned out also, its just medium brown with some antique on it. I don't do my woodwork, I had a old worn out looking directors chair with canvas so I thought I'd replace it with leather. I got the idea from a chair I saw at Springfield Leather. I'll post some pictures when I get it finished. Quote
