Another Fossil Fish

These things are getting addictive. This is the 3rd style I've done and the folks around the lake marinas love them.

Around 6oz leather, resist was resolene, dye is saddle tan.

I really like it! What back grounder are you using directly around the skeleton, very nice effect.

Thanks Eccho, the backgrounder is a Craftool 888, it works really well for this type of figure carving.

Very cool! I'm not usually a big skeleton fan, but fossils are about as cool as it gets.

Cool! Now, was that fish hook in the original fossil, or is that artistic license? My husband and I were arguing about it when you originally posted it a few weeks back.
