Doc Reaper Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Just had my CB4500 delivered today, I'm totally impressed with it! I was just about finished with assembly and I noticed a lock on the motor. Does anybody have a clue what it's for? Quote Doc Reaper
CowboyBob Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Doc,I don't know what lock your asking about but there is a knob on the front for speed control. It sets the top speed when you floor the foot pedal. Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted July 2, 2014 Members Report Posted July 2, 2014 I think this is off topic, and I am sure Bob knows this, but it's not uncommon for 3 Phase motor switch boxes to have a provision to lock out the power switch. CowboyBob Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Greg, that's true but he's talking about the machine we just shipped him & I know it's a 110volt servo & don't know of any locks on them. I just looked @ a motor & realized he's talking about the screw for the brush,it looks like a key lock. Doc Reaper Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks Bob, it still looks like a key would fit it, but I am totally satisfied with your answer! Quote Doc Reaper
