Just had my CB4500 delivered today, I'm totally impressed with it! I was just about finished with assembly and I noticed a lock on the motor. Does anybody have a clue what it's for?

Doc,I don't know what lock your asking about but there is a knob on the front for speed control. It sets the top speed when you floor the foot pedal.

I think this is off topic, and I am sure Bob knows this, but it's not uncommon for 3 Phase motor switch boxes to have a provision to lock out the power switch.

Greg, that's true but he's talking about the machine we just shipped him & I know it's a 110volt servo & don't know of any locks on them.

I just looked @ a motor & realized he's talking about the screw for the brush,it looks like a key lock.

Thanks Bob, it still looks like a key would fit it, but I am totally satisfied with your answer!
