Hi, I'm hidepounder and brand new to LW. I've posted photo's in a couple of other categories and just now discovered this one, which is where I want to be.....here's some photo's if you haven't already seen them in the other sections. I'll be posting new projects as I finish them......critiques always welcome! For those of you who have replied to my other posts...thanks for the kind words!

Superb! I love your combination of Celtic and floral, and I think your scroll/finger cuts are fantastic!

I don't normally comment because I don't feel qualified to do so. However, your carving takes my breath away. One doesn't have to be a expert to appreciate you work.

Do you free-hand your lettering or do you have stencil-like thingys??

I like the simplisity and western look of the fonts you use.

Thanks Rayban....I downloaded a bunch of fonts that I sort thru to find what I want to use with a pattern. I use Adobe Elements to manipulate the lettering until I like it, then trace them on and cut them. I don't like to use the canned letters because I don't think they have the "custom" feel I'm looking for. I have all the stamps but I don't use them.
