Nightshade Report post Posted September 9, 2014 Does anyone know if there is a manufacturer that makes stainless double cap rivets similar in size to the Ohio Travel Bag 510/512D? Even if its just the skin on the cap that's stainless and the posts are mild steel. And any manufacturers of the imitation roller buckle, Weaver Leather #923, in stainless? The nickel plating in recent years tarnishes too quickly.

BIGGUNDOCTOR Report post Posted March 8, 2015 They may be more expensive, but when you want to make a quality product you don't use inferior parts. I am surprised the nickel is tarnishing. It was used for brightwork on cars before chrome was in widespread use. Is it having a reaction to the leather, or leather finish?
