cicftaiwan Report post Posted September 12, 2014 Does anyone know what type of stitch was used on this wallet. It's fitted very tightly together without gaps. Any suggestions? Thanks!
NVLeatherWorx Report post Posted September 12, 2014 Yup. It is the standard Double-Loop stitch. It was just done using an angled thonging chisel and what appears to be 1/8" wide lace.
electrathon Report post Posted September 14, 2014 My double loop lacing is even tighter than that. 1/8th inch lace, 3/32nd inch slotted holes. Holes punched close to the edge. Two laces, not one (if you do not like the look, use two of the same color laces). I absolutely hate the spider leg look from wide spaced holes moved way in. cicftaiwan Report post Posted September 14, 2014 Thanks for the specs and the pic. I also agree that the holes punched closer to the edge produces a nice tight look! Nice work! Yup.
