Members builderofstuff Posted October 28, 2014 Members Report Posted October 28, 2014 I'm just curious if the Eco-Flow dyes can be thinned so that they could be airbrushed on. I already have some on hand and I know it's pretty thick, but I just wondered if this was possible and if anyone has tried it. Northmount Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yes. Start with 50/50 and test it with your leather and setup. Adjust as needed. Tom Quote
Members TomG Posted October 28, 2014 Members Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yes. Thin with water. Tandy's online catalog has directions and stuff on the product pages for the Eco-Flo dyes. Quote Tom Gregory Legacy Leathercraft www.legacyleathercraft.com www.etsy.com/shop/legacyleathercraft
Members builderofstuff Posted October 28, 2014 Author Members Report Posted October 28, 2014 Thank you guys. I appreciate the info. It's something that I've wanted to try when I was making a batch of items but wasn't sure if it would work or not. Thanks again. Members Goblinworx Posted August 29, 2019 Members Report Posted August 29, 2019 I have been using it in the airbush, but recently heard it's quite caustic to do so. Quote
