Members Sona Posted November 2, 2014 Members Report Posted November 2, 2014 To answer your question Immiketo:I think they are awesome as everyone else. That´s a fantastic nice and clean work and I´d love to have the pleasure sitting on one of your stools (just to get up again and look at it for... a while)As I made some braided pillows for my journeyman's piece (carpenter), too, I´d like to know whether your stools are "breathing" like mine. So if you sit down your press some air out of the braiding holes and if you get up again, it soaks it back in. Do you have the same "problem" (isn´t really one, but I´d like to ask) or did you do it in another way? (I braided completely around every pillow so there are just the braiding holes where the air can go through....)And as always: lovely work! Quote
Members resqman Posted November 2, 2014 Members Report Posted November 2, 2014 Unusual background tooling outside the Blackhawk. What tool did you use? Quote
Moderator immiketoo Posted November 2, 2014 Author Moderator Report Posted November 2, 2014 Sona, I have a hole in the middle of the core to allow air to escape. Also, it can escape through the lacing so its no problem. Resqman, that is a series of tools called can matters. TN, you'd have to take that up with the customer Quote Learnleather.com

Members resqman Posted November 4, 2014 Members Report Posted November 4, 2014 Resqman, that is a series of tools called can matters. Always looking for new backgrounds. Can you provide any more details about maker, possible source, etc. Thanks Google was not particularly useful with so little information. Quote
Moderator immiketoo Posted November 4, 2014 Author Moderator Report Posted November 4, 2014 These are made only by Robert Beard of pro series tools. There is about a year wait for them at this point unless you catch him at a trade show. These are made only by Robert Beard of pro series tools.
