Contributing Member JLSleather Posted November 20, 2014 Contributing Member Report Posted November 20, 2014 I know it was here, but now can't find it. SOMEBODY posted about a dummy for the Smith Wesson SD 9/40 VE. Somebody tell me who has that - and when I git the gun I'll draw the pattern and share it ) Quote
Members camano ridge Posted November 20, 2014 Members Report Posted November 20, 2014 JLS, here is the thread you were looking for http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=57976 Multimolds has it for the SD 9/40. THe ony thing about multi molds is that they are set primarily for Kydex molding so they have a site chanel and the ejector port is filled in. You can grind away an indent for the ejector port with a dremel. Neither blue guns or duncans show an SD. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted November 20, 2014 Author Contributing Member Report Posted November 20, 2014 Yeah, I see that was you 'n' me back then, too Couldn't remember why I didn't already buy the stinkin thing. Then saw teh 2-3 week wait time. Yeah, guess I gotta just get over that -- and wait. THANKS! Quote
Members camano ridge Posted November 20, 2014 Members Report Posted November 20, 2014 Yeah, unfortunately the wait time is a fact of life unless some one happens to have the blue gun or multi mold in stock. Multimold sayss hey cast theres when ordered hence the wait time. Quote
Members chiefjason Posted November 21, 2014 Members Report Posted November 21, 2014 Check on ebay. I got one from MM pretty fast over there a while back. Ordered the VP9 before Rings made it. I chucked a dremel cutting tool in my drill press and went to work on the ejection port, trigger guard, and trimmed the sight channel down some. Works well. Quote
