i wanted to buy a pair of slip on sandals but couldnt find anything to fit properly...i have a very big foot. so i thought i would try to make a pair for myself.

i used the pattern as described in this post..http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4999&hl=viking+shoes.

i trimmed the back bit off so that they were slip on style. they took about 2 hours to make. you cant see from the photos but they have a sole and heel glued on...very comfortable..

I really like what you came up with! They look comfy. I have some problems with getting sandals to fit propery.
