Members asoupley Posted January 4, 2015 Members Report Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) Here are some key fobs that I did as Christmas gifts. I ended up making 15 of them total. They are veg tanned leather, dyed with fieblings alcohol dye. This time I sprayed it through my airbrush, which worked much better!! Thanks for looking! -Tony Edited January 4, 2015 by asoupley Quote

Members Eccho Posted January 5, 2015 Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 Very nice! Are those hand stitched or machine? Quote leatherart3.com
Members asoupley Posted January 5, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 @Eccho: they are hand stitched. Too poor for a machine right now Quote
Members thefanninator Posted January 5, 2015 Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 Nice work. I think I like the white stitching better. Quote http://www.instagram.com/fannintexas/

Members SCBrian Posted January 5, 2015 Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 Tony, Do you cut those out by hand from a template or do you have a die for them? Quote
Members asoupley Posted January 5, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 @SCBrian: I cut them from hand. I made a template in Adobe illustrator, and then I print it out, use a mild spray adhesive to attach it to the leather, and then cut the lines with a knife. I am thinking about making a template out of Masonite for the future. I would love to get a clicker die made though. Would be happy to share the pdf template if anyone is interested. Quote
Members SCBrian Posted January 5, 2015 Members Report Posted January 5, 2015 I would love the template if you don't mind. You can send it to brsimmons86@gmail.com Thanks! Quote
