Members 8thsinner Posted November 13, 2008 Members Report Posted November 13, 2008 (edited) I just got a new leatherman charge TTi a few days ago to replace the juice Xe6 I lost a few months ago. I ordered the bit kit of 42 parts and the hex extender. The bit kit comes in two seperate plastic holders and a nylon sheath, the probmle with the sheath is it just takes up too much space, I already carry a zippo, bandanna frog, phone pouch, and obviously adding the leatherman. I am using the belt clip attachment for the leatherman, but to add a bulky nylon sheath would be pushing it. So I sat in the pub as usual and worked out a few ideas, I decided to opt for the occums razor of designs and add to my belt itself. I have a few others and am holding off on doing a more proper system until I remake my belt. Anyway, heres what I came up with. The stitching is extremely badly done, I hate hand stitching but had no lace to work with handy. But it works well, holds tight, is discreet, takes up very little space, and I can't feel it when worn. Of course it does mean I have added another 300 or so grams (leatherman included) to my EDC weight. lol Edited November 13, 2008 by 8thsinner Quote
