Sven WillIBeFamous Report post Posted March 24, 2015 Decided to try and make something for my "Better Half" last night and she decided she wanted a swallow in the style of a classic tattoo design. An hour later and I'd got this far. I need to go round with the edge beveller again as I can see a few tool marks in places, but otherwise I'm quite happy with the progress. Thoughts and comments are welcomed.

Instinctive Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Simple elegance. Very nice. At the moment I'm working with tribal tattoo designs adapting them for my work. Please be sure to show us the finished product.
Grey Drakkon Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Very nice! Staining it could give it a tattoo-like coloring too, especially if you outline it in black.
Sven WillIBeFamous Report post Posted March 25, 2015 At the moment I only have a bottle of Fiebings Antique Stain so I gave it a coat of that last night, and tonight I'll hit it up with some resolene to finish. I'll post some pics once I get the piece finished.
Grey Drakkon Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Ah, a pity. It would have been neat to see it with a watered down acrylic wash if nothing else. The antiquing probably looks great though!
Sven WillIBeFamous Report post Posted April 2, 2015 Forgot to post the image of this when it was finished. I was pleased with the way it turned out and my missus absolutely loves it.
