Members Lunation Posted March 26, 2015 Members Report Posted March 26, 2015 So i just finished this I'm pretty stoked on it but want some opinions... Also after 5 hours of leather lacing straight i believe my thumb is 3 times the size it should be and may fall off ....... so if you have any easy lacing trick please lemme know!!! Quote
Members Eccho Posted March 26, 2015 Members Report Posted March 26, 2015 Nicely done. A lot of work, but the end result is pretty darn special. Eccho Quote

Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted March 29, 2015 Members Report Posted March 29, 2015 I like the use of color. Quote
Members Pkay Posted March 29, 2015 Members Report Posted March 29, 2015 I think your lacing is excellent, you should not need to harden your skin any more but if you do you can dip your finger in meths. Quote
Members snubbyfan Posted March 29, 2015 Members Report Posted March 29, 2015 "What is this that stands before me?" Looks great. My advice, take a break when your fingers start gettin' tired, let 'em rest then right back to it. Works for me when I've got lotsa stitchin' to do. Quote

Members TheGarrett Posted April 1, 2015 Members Report Posted April 1, 2015 Very nice, Great turn out. I used to have the same issue Lunation, I had 2 learn to take a break maybe look at a different project for an hour or two then come back to lacing or hand stitching in my newbie opinion is the worse. Again great work keep it up! -Garrett Quote
Members Pkay Posted April 1, 2015 Members Report Posted April 1, 2015 You could try rubbing a block of bees wax over the back of the lacing before you start. Try it on a piece of scrap first !! Quote
