Members GaryNunn Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 The manual is unclear on this, but how do I adjust the tension on the bobbin on the Singer 111W151? Members Constabulary Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 Left screw on the bobbin case spring - see picture. Make 1/4 turns and check again Quote ~ Keep "OLD CAST IRON" alive - it´s worth it ~ Machines in use: - Singer 111G156 - Singer 307G2 - Singer 29K71 - Singer 212G141 - Singer 45D91 - Singer 132K6 - Singer 108W20 - Singer 51WSV2 - Singer 143W2
Members Dwight Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 Thanks, Constabulary, . . . you make it look easy. But sometimes there are very few more frustrating things than a machine that "should" do this, . . . but only does "that". Thread tensions on sewing machines sometimes are hectic to fix. Members Constabulary Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 Thats correct but the only question was: "How do I adjust the tension on the bobbin." and thats what I have answered. Members GaryNunn Posted April 21, 2015 Author Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) I feel like such a newbie asking this, but I can't figure out how to remove the bobbin case. I actually tried to remove it before posting my original question, but couldn't figure it out. Members gottaknow Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 The bobbin case stays in the machine. You adjust it from the side towards the front. Regards, Eric Quote
