Members shadowryder Posted April 21, 2015 Members Report Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) This may be sacrilage to the purists of our craft but I have tried many times to do traditional and cannot get it to work out, So I decided to experiment on a job I,ve been asked to do with my engraving tool. I was asked to do a tribal wolf on a small bobber seat, This is what I,ve done so far.. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm267/cowboyjj/DSC_0011_zpsjnpvoav0.jpg?1429454698924&1429454701479 What do youthink. Members shadowryder Posted April 25, 2015 Author Members Report Posted April 25, 2015 I also had thoughts on the wood branding tool to see if it any good, maybe on my next project. Quote
Members TexasLady Posted April 25, 2015 Members Report Posted April 25, 2015 Hi shadowryder. Yes, it looks real good. It doesn't have the richness of hand tooled, but the detail is great and it looks as good as the stamped logos I've seen on some products. I'm paraplegic with a broken back. I'll be trying out your method soon, so as to avoid swinging a mallet. Quote
Members kiwican Posted April 25, 2015 Members Report Posted April 25, 2015 Ive been doodling around with my wood burner, im liking the effect, i just need to burn something cool on the leather! Quote
