KimRulien Report post Posted November 20, 2008 Here a just a couple pictures of what I am trying to do! Took some trial and error but I am getting pretty good at it and figuring out which stones work and which ones don't! The designing is also pretty fun! Now to sell some...with any luck, my personal economy may improve next year!
BearMan Report post Posted November 20, 2008 Very Nice Kim!! I've been wondering what to do with all those Garnets & Saphires I have with holes in them. Thanks for the inspiration!! Do you find that the instrument puling on the strap and distorting it, messes with the way your stones stay affixed? Most of the straps I've done have been for bass players and they tend to be heavy instruments, and in answer, I've alway made the straps extra burly... and think i might compromise comfort a bit, to make an extra strong strap. good luck squeaking money out of musicians....talk about a tree not to bark up if your looking for revenue...lol.. but as always YMMV.
