Wanting to try a stock whip. was wondering where a good place for roo hide was? I read a couple of posts down but there wasn't much on the topic on whole hides.

I've gotten some from Charles Hardtke. I was real happy with quality and service. I think I payed around $12.00 a sq. foot. Their phone# is (915)590-0088 Hope this helps.

About how much lace, say 1/8, can be gotten from an average roo hide?

I'm sure there's some kind of formula to figure that out, but I wouldn't know where to look for it, and probably wouldn't know what to look for if I did know where to look. I'm no math man at all.....here's a stab at a guess though, for say..a 31" circle. 167yards.
