Members kramhunter Posted June 5, 2015 Members Report Posted June 5, 2015 I have a Yamata fy5618 and am having a problem with my thread looping and bunching up under the leat her at tr start. I am sewing about an inch and half straight lengths so I'm starting in reverse a couple stitches and ten going forward and then reverse again at the end. It is looping in the beggining during my reverse sitching and then is fine. My matching sees good on long runs. I just can't figure out why it won't pull tight in in the beggining. Please help Quote
Northmount Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 Are you holding the threads tails while you start, until you have sewn a couple stitches? Tom Quote
Members wlg190861 Posted June 7, 2015 Members Report Posted June 7, 2015 When you sew if using nylon thread all you need is to start with one back stitch and then forward to end an 1 back stitch then. It sounds like you are backstitching over loose thread. Hold your ends when you start. Quote
