Members camano ridge Posted June 5, 2015 Members Report Posted June 5, 2015 Is there a program or something that will aid in putting a water mark on your digital photos? If you use water marks how do you do it? Quote
Thor Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 The options are almost as multiple as ways to make a saddle. There are commercial programs offering a watermark placement on the picture. Basically they're just placing another layer with transparent background above the picture. Then there are digital watermarks which will not be visible but readable by certain programs. Basically they're adding code to your image. Some of it is so fancy that you can trace it throughout the web. Whatever your need may be I'm sure one of the results here will help you. https://www.google.de/search?q=image+watermark+software&oq=image+water&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j0l3.9059j0j4&client=tablet-android-lenovo&sourceid=chrome-mobile&espv=1&ie=UTF-8 Quote
Members gmace99 Posted June 5, 2015 Members Report Posted June 5, 2015 I have been using a program called eyebatch for years. However there is lots of image batch programs for free. This is a link to a free one however I have not tried it. http://freewatermarksoftware.com/ Quote
Members veedub3 Posted June 5, 2015 Members Report Posted June 5, 2015 I am a Graphic/Web designer so to protect my images I use Digimarc. It embeds a digital code in the photo that allows me to track that image across the web. This would be overkill if you just want to protect your photos on your own site, but because I have built thousands of sites, it is a must for me. Photoshop or even better the free programs Inkscape and Gimp will do the job as well, and it is super easy. Go to youtube and do a search, and you will find several quick tutorials that will show you how it is done. Karina Quote
