Members Jon P Posted June 11, 2015 Members Report Posted June 11, 2015 How do you recommend someone care for leather that has been finished with acrylic resolene? Quote
Members Geneva Posted June 11, 2015 Members Report Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Once Resolene is applied as a finish; that is all you can do the the product. Resolene seals and water proofs, it does not allow anything to penetrate. Edited June 11, 2015 by Geneva Quote
Members club49 Posted March 8, 2016 Members Report Posted March 8, 2016 Waterproof ? Maybe resistant. Quote
King's X Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Typically, Resolene will repeal water to a certain point. If the finish was applied to the top of the leather. You should be able to apply water to the underside with a note of caution. You may end up with water stains on the top end. Wet slowly and do not submerge! Quote
Members Dwight Posted March 9, 2016 Members Report Posted March 9, 2016 I do the resolene trick inside and out, . . . up and down, . . . top an bottom. It still ain't "waterproof", . . . but it is right real good and close to it. You can add any good boot or shoe polish to it, . . . make it REALLY shine then. May God bless, Dwight Quote
