Geneva Report post Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) If you are going to do some serious leather sewing this machine will not hold up. PS: This Youtube video should help. I will keep my mouth shut this looks like a good machine. Edited June 20, 2015 by Geneva
dfrensdorff Report post Posted June 20, 2015 I should have mentioned I own a Cowboy 3200 ...... I would be using this for lighter work.....is it a good machine?
Constabulary Report post Posted June 20, 2015 I don´t know REX machiens but I´d assume it is a good machine but personally I´d rather buy a needle feed machine for light leather work. Seems this one has top and bottom feed but no needle feed. If I were you I´d test sew it with the materials I want to sew before I buy it. $200 sounds like a fair price but depends on the condition. Gregg From Keystone Sewing Report post Posted June 22, 2015 Rex is good, old Japanese quality. Machine is a top bottom feed.
