Rawhide Report post Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) Fabulous site Barry, Simple, and effective. One suggestion would be to show the awl handles in someone's hand for reference comparison. Most people probably don't realize how fat the large one is. Edited November 30, 2008 by Rawhide
Bree Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Looks great Barry! Where are all the After Thanksgiving and Christmas specials??
okiwen Report post Posted November 30, 2008 That really is a good site. I'm not part of the Barry fan club here. I don't own any of your tools (yet). But with that site i problably will. It is easy to navigate and see what the impressions look like. Keep the prices reasonable and I'll start saving.
Vikti Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Nice site. Question, what would you use a 96oz. maul for other than home defense?
TheTrooper Report post Posted December 1, 2008 Hi Barry, nice site you have out there. I love my 2 new swivel knifes from you. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Marcel M. from Germany P.S: @badger AFAIK Barry ships world wide. I got two swivel knifes 2 weeks ago and I am living in Germany. He also accepts Credit Card ;-)
David Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Barry, Beautiful site, I have all your bevelers, and use nothing but them. I have a suggestion....How about putting together a list of the tools used on the extremely small Sheridan work that you do. Like the belt you had at Columbus. I'm still in awe of that belt and would love to own tools capable of doing Sheridan of that size. Love the site David Theobald

Art Report post Posted December 3, 2008 Hi Vikti, I use mine for applying my big makers mark, especially on really hard harness or bridal leathers which can lose about 30% of the impression over a short period. I use it with the leather on a machinists granite surface plate and double impressions are a thing of the past. Art Nice site.Question, what would you use a 96oz. maul for other than home defense? Vikti Report post Posted December 7, 2008 especially on really hard harness or bridal leathers which can lose about 30% of the impression over a short period. Art Wow, I didn't know that. Not to change the subject of the thread, but is that why some people get dead-blow hammers (as a cheaper alternative) so they can get that harder hit on the stamps? HARVEY Report post Posted December 10, 2008 Add me, Barry, to the happy folks who have seen you join the 21st century. I'm sure you'll enjoy increased sales. Suggestion: add something showing the custom tools you've done over the years; basket stamps, special designs, etc. Like maker stamps, when folks see others' ideas, it generates new ideas for even more new and custom tools. With this new website, gosh, now you be even MORE back-ordered!! All the best, Harvey
BarryKing Report post Posted December 17, 2008 I guess that's one reason I left a lot of the custom stuff off, so some of you might not have to wait as long.
