I'm impressed by what you have done. The chain mail and other metal parts really bring the whole chest piece together. Even your rivet placement Is well thought through. Well done Sir! Yes ,through a lot of trial and error and fitting i designed it i used manila folders to trace the design out with , they are cheap enough and large enough to make most pattern pieces with and they hold up well. TheGrinningDwarf Report post Posted August 22, 2015 I know well of Amtgard we have a chapter up here too right next door to the town i live in in NH, best advice i can give when it comes to making armor is it takes time patience and trial and error, dont get discouraged if your first one isnt a master piece, takes alot of playing around to find what fits well and comfortably ! Grey Drakkon Report post Posted August 22, 2015 Beautiful job on that armor! The only thing that bothered me was in the first picture, you can see inside and it's just fuzzy raw stuff. I know that's not going to be seen when worn, but I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to seal it just so sweat won't break down the inside of the armor?
