Dog Collar

Anyone have a generic dog collar pattern they would be willing to share? Need to make two one for a french bulldog and one for a boxer. Any tips or tricks will be appreciated

glock, they're just small belts. I don't have a pattern but I don't use one. I put 5 holes in the front, measure from the third to the middle of the buckle to size them. just use a strap cutter. I make mine 5/8ths, an inch and 1 & 1/2 inches. Cheryl

If both dogs are fully grown you can keep the number of holes for adjustment to a minimum...Thickness of the collar will affect the size...more so on small size collars. I ask my costumers to measure their dogs neck circumference at the smallest part...snug...no fingers in-between the neck and the measuring tape .Make sure the inside circumference of your collar, while buckled up, will match that size . Measured flat on the table , it will be probably 1-2in longer depending on how thick the collar is.

Thanks for the replies just waiting on the measurements. My other question is to find the center for the names do I measure to the halfway point between the buckle and the hole closeted to the buckle?
