Members Big Papa Leather Posted December 3, 2008 Members Report Posted December 3, 2008 First off again thanks to Froghunter I used the skull cowboy head from his clock. I hope I did it justice. Front of Wallet Back This is a standard Tandy Biker wallet. It has the thin pig leather inside with the bellows type pocket. Not my favorite design for an interior.. but it works. Now all I have to do is find it a new home! Allen Quote
Members Spider Posted December 3, 2008 Members Report Posted December 3, 2008 This looks fun. Maybe you can leave some areas inside the face or had to grab some of the outter color so it looks more 3D. What did you use that makes it so shiny? Good work though. Quote
Members Big Papa Leather Posted December 3, 2008 Author Members Report Posted December 3, 2008 What did you use that makes it so shiny? Fiebing's Leather Sheen. The spray can stuff. It is very shiny. Sometimes too shiny. I got some Satin Sheen after the completion of this wallet to use on the next project. Allen Quote
Members 8thsinner Posted December 3, 2008 Members Report Posted December 3, 2008 Nice little wallet there. The only thing I don't get is why use holes as large as you did for the edge and then use thread to stitch it? Quote

Members Big Papa Leather Posted December 3, 2008 Author Members Report Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) Yes, it was a Tandy biker wallet kit. It came with the thread and the lace. Since I am struggling with the double loop lace I chose to stitch it to finish it quicker Allen edited to fix spelling error Edited December 3, 2008 by scissormedic Quote

It will still be too shiny but the character of the shine will change to the better. I think the key is to work it up to a warm temperature. Cool wallet, skulls are nice;-) Tom Quote
