stelmackr Report post Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) When I have a raw (cut) edge I either dye it a dark color (chrome tanned) or dye and slick (veg tanned). Takes little time and in my opinion gives it a classier look. I like the tan/blue color look. I decided not to paint the single layers on this project due to time constraints. It's a dark brown, not blue, must be the light. Thanks for looking & commenting! MonicaJacobson Report post Posted October 19, 2015 Nice job, Chris. Don't know why I didn't see this earlier. Apparently the "view new topics" function works very badly. Funny, I was making a composition notebook two weeks ago, for the first time. Mine doesn't have the fancy-shmancy credit card slots, though.
thefanninator Report post Posted October 19, 2015 Thanks Monica. Yours looks nice too and the magnet closure is a nice touch.
