Members Bullwinkle777 Posted October 12, 2015 Members Report Posted October 12, 2015 I was hoping that someone here could help me out on making a wallet pattern. I was asked to make a wallet, but I'm not sure how to go about making the pattern. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!! Quote
Northmount Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 Try out the search function, upper right of your screen. A search for wallet in patterns and templates yields this list for you to review. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search§ion=search&do=search&fromsearch=1 Tom For making your own pattern, measure out the size of bills, cards, etc. that you want to fit. Layout on paper, cut and tape or staple together to try out size. Allow about 1/2" extra for stitching and room to open and remove bills or cards without them binding. The are also a lot of discussions of how to make card pockets, and keep the bulk down. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted October 12, 2015 Contributing Member Report Posted October 12, 2015 Honestly, unless you are going to mass-produce those, I don't know that it's worth teh trouble to sttch 'em. If you just need one or two, just call 'em at SLC and order the Chaylor inserts already done and ready to use There are a couple versions very close to what you show there. http://springfieldleather.com/36988/Interior%2CCheckWallet%2CCF%2CChoc/ Quote
