Members Keebz Posted October 15, 2015 Members Report Posted October 15, 2015 Hi I'm about to start doing a couple vest for some family members using the Tandly leather vest pattern, my question is on the instruction it says "Be sure to allow at least 1/4"-1/2" extra on all edges to turn the leather for a finished edge..." so my question is does this mean for me to cut a half inch extra all the way around the pattern? or is the 1/4"-1/2" already included in the pattern? Members DoubleC Posted October 15, 2015 Members Report Posted October 15, 2015 I've never used a tandy pattern but to be sure I'd call them. Also if 1/4" is gonna make a difference in fit I don't think I'd make it Cheryl Quote
Northmount Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 You have a choice, raw edges, or add extra to all outside edges to allow for turned edges. Tom Quote
