Members Cajunsavage Posted October 20, 2015 Members Report Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) What is the most expensive/durable fur? I was going to use mink, fox or Lynx. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Edited October 20, 2015 by Cajunsavage Quote

Members simontuntelder Posted October 21, 2015 Members Report Posted October 21, 2015 A chinchilla coat would also require some investment. It's probably not that durable though. Quote

Members DV8DUG Posted April 7, 2018 Members Report Posted April 7, 2018 That's because of the moisture content I'm sure. Once tanned properly everything should tool well. Maybe just a leg to start with and get a feel for it. Quote I think of Chinese food when I think of life; That's sweet and sour. My life is sweet as saccharin. Ye Scurvy Dog. Members CovinMauritzen Posted October 24, 2018 Members Report Posted October 24, 2018 Vicuña maybe? They can only be shorn every three years and must be wild caught. A vicuña wool sportscoat can easily coat into the tens of thousands of dollars. So I can only imagine if you killed and skinned one how much more expensive it would be. Quote
