Members thekid77 Posted October 31, 2015 Members Report Posted October 31, 2015 Hey friends, I have read that petroleum based products are bad for leather....I noticed that Fiebings Snow Proof contains petrolatum (not sure if it's considered to be a petroleum distillate).... any advice? Thank you!! Quote
Members TomG Posted November 1, 2015 Members Report Posted November 1, 2015 I've used it and never had a complaint. It's made by Fiebings and I doubt that they would make something to deliberately damage leather. The can says it waterproofs, protects and conditions the leather. Quote

Moderator Art Posted November 4, 2015 Moderator Report Posted November 4, 2015 Wild Bill, Look here for Snow Proof. Here for Mink Oil Liquid. Mink Oil Paste is a little more "natural". Art Quote
